Spark's Creation - August 2005 - Float That Cork!

One of Abraham's topics that has been popping up (!) for years is "floating your cork." Basically the idea is stop pushing the cork down by being in resistance, and the cork (and we) will automatically bob right up.

The other day I was amazed at the contrast between being immersed in a game/ challenge/ adventure, and stepping back & being able to see it clearly. I realized a fundamental idea that may have come in handy when I first started playing with these ideas, or actually any time from then until now, and I'll use the cork thing as an example.

Most of us when we start our quests are in deep doodoo. We're in resistance up to our spikey hair ends and it's like our cork is WAY under water with 650 pounds of pressure per square inch on it. When we come across these deliberate creating ideas and they resonate and we're supercharged and we feel so much better, many of us wind up "crashing" because some time goes by and everything or certain things don't seem to change.

We tear our hair out wondering why our realities are going haywire when we're now in super-alignment with everything we ever wanted, when basically what we've really done is moved up to about 600. It's still pretty murky and uncomfortable waters down there-- but we don't know it, because it's so much better than where we were!

Speaking for myself, I did not even have a framework that could fathom let's say 300 or higher-- that didn't even exist. So 6 (hundred) was good, 5 was better, and 4 was damn near invincible-- at least to my thinking. Understanding these concepts and feeling so much better and speeding along in the groove, I would turn around and run smack into my reality & get whiplash. The intensity of the peaks of resonating with creator ability were only matched by the valleys of frustration and disappointment when faced with something in my experience that I so did not prefer.

And what did I do? Focused on the thing I didn't prefer-- to "fix" it. :D While paying attention to what we're doing is great, holding our focus on things we don't prefer-- especially if we're in resistance about them-- is not the way to make a happy camper. or get anything to change, for that matter.

I am usually one of those "all or nothing" people-- either I am in it up to my ears or I don't look twice at it, and this was no different. The benefit is often reaching the inner core and coming out the other side in the time it takes some people to decide to take initial action. The drawback is whatever is in the "all" position takes center stage to the exclusion of everything else. So, presenting "issue" becomes ISSUE with a capital R, for Resistance.

Since 650 was a bearable place to be, going from 400 steadily downward wasn't really noticeable until I hit 675 and screamed out loud, wondering what the heck just happened. The funny thing (retrospectively of course) is that can take about five minutes in intense focus. :D From there though, the option of peeling the eyes off ISSUE isn't even within sight. It's so frikkin murky down there that nothing else is visible. No solutions, no doors, windows, paths or messenger planes.

Luckily life gets in the way and we have to do other things from time to time that can take our attention off ISSUE (or we can decide we've really had enough and we're going to change it if it kills us, or we can get totally bored with it, both buoyant) allowing us to rise high enough to be able to see that we could use a little more rise. :) With perseverance and practice, we reach levels of less pressure and more clarity, until finally we can see the thing for what it is. Issue-now-non-issue dissolves, & we are free.

So if you're getting whiplash or alligator teeth in your backside and you would like to stop that, take your attention off things that bother you and get to a better feeling space, so you can see more clearly, so you can get to a better feeling space, so you can see more clearly. And if things are still going haywire and you just can't figure out what's going on, then get to a better feeling space so you can see more clearly, so you can get to a better feeling space, so you can see more clearly....

Of course, reading the "physical reality strategy guides" from Seth, Bashar, Abraham, Elias, etc., and exploring beliefs and definitions can be a great help as well, but it's always better to attack beliefs (lol) from a space of clarity and non-resistance. From my pov of course, just a suggestion, and I'm off to take my own advice. :)

What we're shooting for here is freedom. No pressure, full clarity.
